Kingdom

I believe and can see a new world or kingdom coming for all of man.

Now don't get rough on me yet.

I can see how man is coming together. With all of the techy stuff we are able to talk to each other and communicate in other formats. I can see the melding of our cultures. Yes I know that we are waring because some are bad and some are good. I also can see the refining of our knowledge by multi-cultural imput and agreement. I can see that in the near future the welcome matt will slowly appear on the doorstep of every community. We are globally becoming aware of the futility of disagreement. So, I think we soon will agree that there can be a kingdom that is global and that can incorporate every culture on the planet.

Remember this is my first post and my first question:

Please without being argumentative, give the rest of us any precept/concept that you think all cultures and peoples could and would agree upon.

The object is not to find a middle ground, but to find any concept that you think all nations or cultures would agree upon. Can be a religious statement, scientific, political, practical, farming, family—etc.

Example: Love—I do not think any culture would find a law against love.

Example: Clean water—I think all people would join together to keep the water clean.

This is how simple our project can be. Will you join in? Please from all cultures give us your imput.

Blessings

Unicorns! The people of NZ demand Unicorns!

This just in: the largest livestock voting bloc in the world (ie The sheep of NZ), require plenty of high growing grass, and the eradication of high voltage eletric fences.

I guess the last thing he wanted was cynicism; but what a question to ask ! The whole of mankind must have been trying to work out the answer to that one. I wish the answer was that easy.:D

Agreed Michel. Ethnic and cultural realities will always make this an elusive thing. I don't believe we are meant to solve all the problem of the world. Our difficulties are what inspire our greatest imaginations and always will be. I am not so sure that creative genius would continue to grow in a "perfect world".

I think of the words from Jesus Christ Superstar... in things like this
"there will always be poor, pathetically struggling..."

But on the other hand few of the people here are racist - I mean we believe that despite our ethnic and cultural differences we are one organic phenomenon - humanity. So if one can embrace this unity of humanity in SPITE of our ethnic and cultural differences, then that acceptance is a powerful thing, is it not?

Suppose we embrace that mindset, in spite of the the difficulties - difficulties which inspire us to get there anyway overcoming huge roadblocks on the way - is that acheivment going to stop our greatest imaginations and creations? I don't think so - we will have the difficulties of maintaing that mindset, and acheiving the outward significances of the inner truth. If those who embrace the idea of the Creator for Creation cac acheive the mindset that whatever the name for this Creator might be, it is the same Creator for all of us, then we have acheived another new mindset which will unify the world.

I see the unification of the world as something that is so obviously coming, that I doubt mankind can do much to stop it.

Regards,
Scott

So far, so good.

In some ways, I do agree Scott. However, the sad reality is that some religious factions will simply not give an inch. I do agree that "something" is coming, however I see the birth of a whole new way of thinking a far measure beyond the pablum we are presently offered. I see a new "religion" that is not a religion, wherein faith is replaced by direct understanding and personal experience. This is what will unite the world. In order to attain this fullness of life, people will have to relinquish their illusions from the past. It isn't going to be all hugs and kisses, as ignornace is not going to just roll over and play dead.

You are welcome to try to unite the world in its current condition, but you will quickly stub your toes on each groups special interests. A bold vision Scott, and an admirable one, but simply not possible in our present mindset. It is going to take a whole new way of thinking to make it happen.
