Kiss and Tell: Your First Kiss

In another thread "Youngest Gay kiss ever in T.V. History" the discussion turned to musings on children kissing in general and reflections about one's first kiss . . .or not.

This got me to thinking; when was your first kiss and what were the circumstances?

My first, and most memorable, kiss was with Mary Ellen Miller of Flint Michigan---years and years ago. She and her mother and younger sister, and I and my family (mom and dad, and brother) were visiting Washington D.C. for a few days and both her family and mine were staying at the same motel. We got to know each other pool side after sightseeing hours, and one evening decided to go for a walk. It started out normally enough, but it wasn't too long before I found myself holding hands with her. "Good grief, a girl wanted to hold hands with Me!!" (I was 12 years old and going into seventh grade in the fall) After walking and talking awhile it eventually turned dark and we decided to turn around and head back, but just before we reached the motel we stopped and I kissed her and she kissed me back. Zoweeee! I bet it took me hours before I fell asleep that night. The next day each family went their separate way. :( However, just before leaving we exchanged addresses, and after returning home she and I corresponded by letter for several months until our "relationship" finally died out. So if you're out there reading this, Mary Ellen Miller of Flint Michigan, please know that you made my summer.

Man, I've been trying to remember mine. The first time I can remember:

I was 14 (or maaaybe 13), and had talked to a friend of mine on MSN (remember that?) about a party we were going to have soon after, in a tent in a field, Wales-style. I mentioned to her I'd never made out with anybody, so she very casually said we'd probably make out at the party. Sure enough, all piled into the tent, we all drank some ciders, and me and her went at it for a while pretty intensely, some exploring. She also made out with the other guys there, I made out with the other three girls there too, it was all happy days.

It seems I kind of skipped the step of just kissing someone for the first time, without the whole making out thing.

Aye,why did I hit reply

My first kiss was with a guy in high school who I was told by someone else he had a crush on me. That's as far as it went. He had something else in mind.

My first kissssss was with another man I've known so far for what ten years. He asked me to court him after all this time of doing stupid college kid stuff and I said no. "Sorry, dude. I'm lesbian." Well, I didn't say it like that.

My first kisssss and I mean kiss was with my first girl I dated. I thought, now that was a kiss. What were the other two? I have no idea.

My first hetero kiss was at a school dance when I was about 15.

My first homo kiss was at a friend's house when I was 17.

Hmm, my first homo kiss was also in a tent now I think about it. Different tent, at least.

My first kiss was on an icy metal pole that looked interesting. My inner lips got stuck. An hour after I ripped them off, I could see the lip protruding beyond my nose.

:O :O :O

That was so bad it took me a moment to even ponder as to the motivation.

I did somewhat the same thing only it was my tongue. I was probably four at the time and was lured by curiosity to see what it was like to put my tongue on the cold railing of an old bank building. It was mid-winter. I immediately became stuck, and after a minute or so of yelling (probably screaming) my mother came rushing out of the store she was shopping in and tried to gently pull me off. Having no luck, someone came over from the drugstore across the street with a glass of warm water, which he slowly poured over my tongue and railing. In about a second or two I was free and able to nurse my poor tongue all the way home. Never, ever did that again.

I think most thinking humans would learn our lesson. It's only if you purposely do it again its it telling. We had one attention seeking kid in our school whop probably would have. Definitely Homer Simpson would have.

I was 11. Her name was Carla Arsenault, and her hair was as black as the night. She made me a birthday card that said how smart and handsome I was, and took me off to one corner of the school yard so we could be alone. When I finished reading it, she grabbed me and kissed me really hard. I ran my fingers through her hair, and it was like silk. She blushed afterwards and ran away, and three days later her parents moved back to New Brunswick. I can still feel every part of it. When my mom and dad found the card they teased me so mercilessly that I threw it away.

It was 2012, I was 22 and it was with a woman I met on a fetish site. It was on a park bench. I initiated it and my hat fell off.

First hetero kiss: 12 years old when I was out with a neighbor boy on a trail. He and I sat down on a log to rest, and he wrapped his arm around me. I turned to look at him in surprise, and he kissed me tenderly. My heart raced because I had such a crush on him, and I got up and ran away in a panic because I didn't know what else to do.

First homo kiss: 19. Was out with friends at a bar I wasn't supposed to be at, and one of the women I was with kissed me to show off in front of some men. I didn't like it at all. I wished we didn't have so many eyes on us. Nothing else happened with her, though I thought about it A LOT until I finally began dating other women in my early 20s.

First hetero kiss: I think it was 2nd grade.

First homo kiss: I was 38, it was a blind date. He described himself as 6', 195 lbs, long brown hair. For some reason known only to the gods, I pictured Antonio Banderas. What I got was more like Cher after a night of bad tequila. But I was horny so I gave it a pass.

He and I were 14, and he was a 'bad boy.' Who knew that would set in motion a pattern of more bad guys to follow.

Question: If I really honestly though that he was a woman, does that still count as my first (and only as far as I know) homo kiss? If so I was 28 (and very drunk).
