I just read the craziest email ever! IT was from my eldest brother. In the email he mentioned the rock 'n roll band KISS. My brother said and I quote:

The band KISS have always been Satan worshipers. Even the name of the band tells all as its an acronym, Knights In Service of Satan.

It's actually Knights In Satan's Service, but whatever, same difference.

That accusation has been around since KISS first formed.

I don't beleive it for one moment. However, I am more inclined to think it actually means

Knights In Sex Service with as many women as Gene Simmons alone has admitted having, plus he admits that he loves sex so my acronym fits their name best in my opinion. Either way, I am sincerely troubled that I will never see them Live in Concert.

I'm pretty sure it stands for "Keep It Simple, Stupid", a term used in engineering and other trades that KISS applied to songwriting.
