FIRST, we should believe the Bible and not the creeds of men per 2 Corinthians 4:4,
"in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn [upon them]. " (American Standard Version: ASV). We should follow the Bible all the way, not halfway as do the creeds. Why? The Bible - both the New Testament and the Old Testament - are practical for our day, and point the way we should all go.
SECOND, We all should learn exactly what the Bible says about our savior, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, and to that end I recommend all go to the following and read a very long and informative Bible based article on our savior that tells it as it is straight from the Bible, go to:

And be sure to do as Acts 17:10-11 shows, "And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Beroea: who when they were come thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so' (American Standard Bible; ASV). Never take anyone's word for what the Bible says, always check it with your own Bible and know the facts. Why? John 8:32 gives the reason, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (Authorized King James Bible; AV).
