I just saw an article about that a few hours ago. I don't know about specific dates, but if things continue on their present course, it's mighty likely.

Givin the history of world conflicts to date its pretty much going to occur at some point in the future. I think the world has to get more dystopian then it is now.

These people with dates however are the same as Harold Camping predicting the apocalypse.

Anyone could "predict" this right about now. The chances of it are fairly high. So there's a chance of getting a lucky call. But he said June 18th. Still no major world war. A prophet he is not.

Pfft... Nostradamus doesn't hold a candle to Jim Bakker when it comes to predictions of the future

I forgot about Jimbo!

It's hilarious watching him to eat that slop out of a bucket while trying to keep a straight face saying it's delicious!

Dystopian yes. After the world runs out of oil in 50 years war might be inevitable. Well, I wouldn’t say war. I would call it more of a terrorist free-for-all.

Reminds me of those end-of-day prognosticators.

They urge repentance using fear,
and say the end moves ever near.
But then they must
their date adjust
to float so that it's never here.

I like that elderly blind woman from some country in the balkans who also makes predictions about the future but I think she's dead now

I don't know how accurate her predictions were but she had a following

Edit: her name was Baba Vanga
