Eh, will make little difference to those suffering under the DPRK regime.
Belated Christmas present if anything substantial comes from this - and Kim Jong-un deserves some recognition if so, since it can't have been easy to back-off from the rhetoric that has been so evident before. Perhaps saner minds are behind all this - and the fact that North Korea is so behind such as to be an economic disaster zone. 
I hope it all works out, because of course, there are many future lives depending upon this - particularly all those in North Korea.

Nope, you know... Trump has nothing to do with it, lol. (If by nothing you mean everything...)
Neither side has had anything to gain from the continued conflict for a long time, but maybe some someone made them see that. Just saying... Anyway, I hope it works out. If it does the world suddenly became a lot safer as Russia and China will have less reason to engage.

Personally I credit Divine intervention if it really happens.
Trump will of course trumpet Trump. But I'd much rather have him try to take credit for something good happening than from the usual flow of disasters.

If this pans out I will give Trump more credit than for anything else he's ever done in his life.

It's a start. If they sign the peace agreement, I think it will help a lot of folks.
If peace breaks out, Trump supporters will praise him, and Trump haters will say it was Obamas policies that accomplished it.
Me as well. For my in-laws in Seoul sake, I hope its for real.

I doubt it although Kimmy can happily go back executing his staff and citizenry with anti-aircraft guns.
Anyways North Korea were the invaders starting the Korean War. I suspect it bides the country enough time to become more powerful for the future. That of course will be for another generation to contend with once they embolden themselves to invade again.
As things always are.
