Hehe. I was pretty much wondering if anyone on these forums practices any form of martial arts. Be it wrestling, boxing, or the all-powerful shaolin kungfu , what form(s) do you practice? Also, while your at it, why do you practice them?
I myself am self-taught for the most part. I've pretty much picked up moves and techniques from all over the place (mostly books, friends, and the occasional teacher) and use them all together. The different styles I've drawn from are Karate (I'm not sure which specific form), Boxing, TaeKwondo, Kyusho-Jitsu, Wrestling, Eastern Mantis KungFu (very small amount), and Gracie Ju-Jitsu.
I practice these for four reasons: One, to keep myself in shape, two, to defend myself in case I am attacked, and three, to injure or incapacitate someone that is attacking me with the intent to wound/kill.
So is there anyone else?
