Rosetta is supposed to be an excellent beginner's program as well... though it is more expensive.

Ergh. I listened to the ones for the languages I already know (German and Japanese) and I really... don't like it. The music is irratating to me and I couldn't hear what was being said even though I already know it- but that's probably because of my hearing disability. The booklets that come with it I don't like either because for the languages that don't use the Latin alphabet they are transliterated...

The program I reccomend most is Rosetta Stone, even though it is pricey, it is very good.
