If you forget about gun control after 24 hours. How important was it to you to begin with?
The FBI doesn't know one way or the other.
There's plenty of respect for the dead in looking for ways to stop this from happening again.
Where I see the real disrespect is in your attempt to deflect the conversation to serve your own narrow interests.
The FBI says they're all but ruling out international terrorism, and that no indication has been found of international terrorism. Unless you want to believe ISIS on this.
That tragedy is nothing compare to Chicagos homicide rate by criminal organizations (gangs) that use already illegal weapons. So how is more gun control going to prevent criminals from purchasing illegal firearms? You think they will say "oh no guns are extra illegal now, i had better stop what i am doing"? So very naive.
Not deflect. Just postpone for 24 hours out of respect, and to give some time for information to be collected instead of useless conjecture.
