Last thoughts

Let's say your in some kind of accident, or any situation, in which, you know you only have a few seconds, if that, to live. What is going through your mind? What are you thinking? Are you repenting for past sins, looking back on a good life, wondering what awaits you after death or what?

I have no idea what would be going through my mind, and I hope I don't find out for a long time. I imagine it would be something like 'ohcrapohcrapohcrap, don'twannanotexistdon'twannanotexist...'

But if I was thinking that I only had a few seconds to live , then that would likely be what I am thinking ...

The funny thing is ... I usually do. I die or get into really bad situations in my dreams - A LOT.

I don't think any of us has a clue how we would think at the last moment; knowing the way I think, I'd probably be worrying that I'd not left a note with the code to open all the financial documents on the computer...........now, that's a point.........

I don't know what it would be, but this reminds me of a Barenaked Ladies song in which a person falls asleep at the wheel.

I always cry at that point. 'You're the last thing on my mind" gets turned from being "the furthest thing from my concern at this time" to "the thing that I treasure so much that I would spend my last moments in this life thinking of".

Arrrrgghh... Crying again!

I must spread some karma before giving it to Feathers again, but the song she posted sums up what I was going to post. I'd probably be thinking of loved one(s), and wishing I could say goodbye.

Thank you Feathers! I have to download this song. I've never heard it before, but that is exactly it. I know I would be thinking of my children, they would definitley be my last thought.
