It was on fire when I laid down on it.
No, I do not believe Trump makes sense but you know that.Which ones make little sense?
Do you believe that Trump makes sense?

It was "rigged" to support slave owners when the Constitution was formed. It was realized that our fledgling nation needed the support of everyone to survive. So some politicians put on their Big Boy Pants and tilted the balance of power slightly towards the south. They made it so that the slave states were had a slight advantage to help make up for their smaller population. It was not a "states' rights issue" unless you want to argue that slavery is a state's right. So what, the framers of the constitution balanced states and individual rights, this was the compromise. It can be changed.
It is not rigged, it is the current system. Do you really think in 1787 the writers of the constitution were trying to screw democrats in the 2000's?
Why is there no push by the dems to change the system if they think it is rigged?
I forget things. No, I do not believe Trump makes sense but you know that.
In early days, most states only allowed white male landowners to vote.It was "rigged" to support slave owners when the Constitution was formed. Perhaps you could explain how denying legitimate election results is a defense of democracy?Yes, I am voting for Trump to defend our democracy.
Not for Harris and a party that it's elites ousted the elected nominee because he could not win by the party members in a primary, then installed Harris as the nominee without any debate or discussion, Bidens donations transferred to her all within 48 hours then delegates polled by the party on zoom or email with no debate or challenger that will get her the nomination. This may be legal but it is not a democratic process.
The dems need to stop lecturing everyone on what democracy is and isn't.
Not willingly.Plus Trump actually shed his blood for this country, and is still running in spite of the constant danger to his life.
That's a hell of a lot more than Harris the chameleon could ever say or claim.
Look what you did here. You just spouted off a racist dog whistle, and then when it was pointed out to you, you blamed the Democrats.Stating the facts as it stands , and the racist garbage spewed by the left wing is actually tiresome as a tired worn out go to meme for things they don't want to hear like the chameleon woman who uses race like its an assorted socket set.
The 50s - the 1850s to be precise. And Republicans talk about the good old days. Yeah? When was that actually?
Apologies to @Clizby Wampuscat , @Shaul , @Twilight Hue and everybody else, yes a serious senior moment, I did work the Apr 2 pres. NY primary but somehow because whatever, I confused myself into making a story in my head that was not true though it seemed it to me.I'm afraid I may have had a major senior moment, I retract and will go think on this awhile.
This "shed his blood" meme is really, really tacky. I suppose if he gets a nose bleed, you'll make him into a saint!Plus Trump actually shed his blood for this country, and is still running in spite of the constant danger to his life.

Yes but actually getting shot is a whole different animal. This "shed his blood" meme is really, really tacky. I suppose if he gets a nose bleed, you'll make him into a saint!
And anybody who runs is in precisely the same amount of danger.
You are wrong. They have to have an actual nominee prior to the Aug 12th deadline to get on the Ohio ballot. This is why it was done this way. If Biden was still in they would have done the same thing."Secured" as is she has sufficient delegates pledging to vote for her at the convention to assure her nomination.
Your claim: "they can do a delegate vote for the nomination prior to their convention." is false as that no delegates have voted yet.
Ok, then don't vote for Trump. He is weird too right?I don't like Harris.
I don't dislike Harris.
But her major positives are.....
- Much more likely than Biden to beat Trump.
- Unlike Trump, she's never committed treason against USA.
A traitor who...
- Says he'll end elections.
- Says he'll become a dictator.
- Says he'll persecute foes in media.
- Argues his right to assassinate political rivals.
- Attempted a multi-faceted coup.
- Raped women.
- Cheats business associates.
- Is mentally declining.
....should not become President.
We don't have a true democracy, we have a democratic republic.Yeah, it was an idea that worked until the states realized they had to function with more national standards and laws. Even Europe realized having a more uniform set of rules was more efficient. The EC is obsolete today for why it was designed.
It's rigged if you want a democracy. It is the system we have. It is something the republicans like because it's to only way they can compete with their bad polices and bad candidates.
I am defending the electoral college as stated in our constitution. If the dems are unhappy with it then they should be the one trying to change it. Where are they doing this? They have two avenues. No, it's the republcians of the 2000s doing the screwing because they want to keep this obsolete system that gives them an undemocratic advantage. It's sad they know they can't win the popular vote, and even sadder that they refuse to pick a better candidate.
Because it's known that republicans need it to have any chance to get a president elected. Look at you, you're defending it.
I agree, they just made the new rules up because of this mistake they made scheduling the convention. It would have happened anyway, because of the timing the Ohio ballot deadline prior to the DNC even if President Biden hadn't stepped out of the running.
Question for you: Would you be complaining at all if Joe Biden was still the candidate, or only now because the candidate is Kamala Harris?
From @mikkel_the_dane 's link:
DNC officials first indicated in May that they would conduct a virtual roll call to clear a potential hurdle in getting the Democratic nominee on the ballot in Ohio. Ohio’s deadline to file for the general election ballot is Wednesday, two weeks before Democratic delegates would have crowned the nominee at the convention.
Democrats plan to nominate Biden by virtual roll call to meet Ohio ballot deadline
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden will be formally nominated as the Democratic presidential nominee through a virtual roll call ahead of the party’s official convention in Chicago in August — a maneuver that will allow Biden to appear on the November ballot in Ohio. The Democratic National Convention, where the president would otherwise be formally nominated, comes after Ohio’s ballot deadline of Aug. 7. The party’s convention is scheduled for Aug. 19-22.Ohio lawmakers have moved the deadline in the past for candidates of both parties, although they had not done so yet for Biden this year and were called to a rare special session by Gov. Mike DeWine to address the issue.
Have you ever delved into the Fox/right of Fox US media? They’re all bananas. It’s like a sort of basic stimulus-response cycle, whatever the news issue is you get the same idiot bull****. I suppose it makes people feel righteous for being dumb as **** and never questioning anything the TV says.Uh, what?
What on Earth are you talking about?
I agree, they just made the new rules up because of this mistake they made scheduling the convention.

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact could negate the effect of the Electoral College. We don't have a true democracy, we have a democratic republic.
