The point of the parable is that it is sin not to take care of the poor, and very serious sin. I don't know anything about "saved" since I am a Jew and saved is a Christian theme. But certainly Judaism also teaches that we have a responsibility to the poor. Our tradition says that the reason the first temple was destroyed was for three things: idolatry, violence, and not taking care of the poor.Do you believe Luke 16:19-31.Can save an unbeliever if they read it?
