And oddly enough, that same logic works with Mexicans who are drug dealers! Since a few of them might be bad, we had better keep the rest of them out!!

Why don't we use this logic with inner city black kids, ya know?! They're more prone to gang activity anyway, and their arrest rates are higher. We'd be better off keeping them all in their own blocks, wouldn't we?

If there's really no way of knowing who is going to be a good guy or a bad guy, we should just treat the whole group the same, shouldn't we??

Thank god we are White, you know what I mean? At least that way it's easy to know who the good guys are...

But wait... Aren't White businessmen responsible for the vast majority of bank fraud and money laundering? Aren't they responsible for things like mass lay-offs while giving themselves golden parachutes? Aren't there more of them any other racially subdivided culture in the Country??

I guess we should ban all White people from things too...

It's really too bad, because this seemed like such an air-tight idea going in...

Your hyperbole is noted, lol. We should use stats to make our decisions rather than emotions and silly ideas of inequality. Anyway, this is another strawman as race is not the real subject the scrutiny, which is nations that specifically sponsor terror. Most of those people happen to be Muslims, so I guess the argument is redundant. Whether we call them Muslims or Syrian refugees it's just all politically correct wordplay. I find it irrelevant.

Transgender at least for the public at large aren't a real big deal, I mean they've been around and haven't been causing harm.
It is a huge for transsexuals. Many states do not recognize their actual sex, there is the whole bathroom debacle, and there are still many other issues such as health care coverage for treatment.
Same sex marriage has already been ruled on explicitly in the Supreme Court. That fight is basically over
It's not a done deal, and it's not over. If the Republicans get to appoint the next two Supreme Court justices, it is possible the decision will be reversed, or left up to the states, which is not how it should be.

Trump is a narcissistic bigot who advocates war crimes, demeans women, rails agains Mexicans, mocks the disabled, retweets antisemitic memes and wallows in islamophobia.

Trump is perfectly fine with Hispanics, the ones that legally immigrate. Mexicans are not a race, so yea not racist. :D There is plenty of things to rail Mexico about like government sponsored fence jumping programs, the cartels, and the corruption. The guy he was mocking was trash talking him for the liberal media, and they were using this guy's disability as a defense where reason failed. I'd let him have it too -- equality. :) I'd let any liberal who was spewing incorrect information have it with no concern of their sex, race, or other concerns. Apparently, Trump believes in true equality as well.

Lol, antisemitic. You know his son-in-law, daughter, and grandchildren are Jews right? The end. No one takes the antisemitic spin of the powerpoint and photoshop shapes seriously.

War crimes? A little waterboarding is nothing, but since he hasn't done any I guess that's a paper tiger. Let's talk about Obama's and Hillary's destruction of the middle east, the constant droning, and the millions of people displaced or killed by their little "screw up". No one compares to the current murder count for this administration. I mean, not in my entire lifetime has anyone been worse.

Islamophobia is valid, a good 20% of the entirety of Islam want's us dead. It's not Islamophobia, it's self-preservation at that juncture. Again, things are not a negative if they are required for survival -- that preempts a choice or a decision. We literally have to do something about it, or we get people killed. Choose wisely.

Again, it comes to my idea that the largest problem is a documentation problem. If you can change all your documents to reflect your identity then it literally defuses most of the other issues. No one even knows what you "were" at birth, etc.

Reversal is not likely even with the Republicans. They support civil unions in the current party platform, they just don't want it called marriage. (What you call it isn't a big deal to me) SCOTUS solved that definition for them, and it's not usual for them to reverse those decisions without damn good reasons. I think you have nothing to worry about and the energy would be better spent on a real issue like jobs, and trade.

If Trump gets elected I have no doubt appointees would be "Trump cons" rather than the "Christian Right" as people tend to reward their own. Trump is not anti-gay at all and I doubt he'd support nominations that were. The Republicans as a whole accept LGBTQ+ pretty much universally with the exception of the Christian Fundamentalists. But, all parties have their crazies.
