I agree on Diplodocus. Though the inventor of gif said it's pronounced as jif and most people are comfortable with the 'word of god' explanation even if it doesn't make sense due to the 'g' sound in 'graphics' being adopted for the acronym would make it 'gif.'
Going back to dinosaurs though, I see a little red when pterosaurs are called dinosaurs.

I know he said it's jif, but far wiser people have since decided that he was clearly wrong and, in fact, it is obviously pronounced gif.
