Whichever one that can beat my PC at launch date will be better(apparantly if ATI is releasing SLI version of the r520 by x360 launch date, then neither of them will.) Id rather see MS take the crown, but I dont think they will get bragging rights, nor do I think any one system will be #1 for a long period of time.
Halo is okay, but there are 100000000000FPS out there, theres no reason for Halo to make Xbox the leading game company if Sony releases something similar or better. FFXIII, GT5, GTA Sin City, and games like Tekken, and a handful of great RPGs will really get a lot more people to buy a PS3, in many cases along with their xbox360 as they are doing with current gen. Not to mention sony is now 2 systems in and confirmed it will remain backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games... xbox360 will also be, but only have their one generation, which has never been a minus, but as you start missing some great classic games, this has proved handy, and it will be more-so popular with PS3 than ever before.
Now if nintendo does what they said they want to do with revolution, then it will be the first console to be massively multiplayer linked at all times(if the user wants to) which would be a great direction for consoles since they lack this and the power to give users a great experience doing so. Allowing users to use the revolution as a PC w/o any mods is a great idea, and will also sell because of the great line of exclusive games with amazing gameplay that is suitable for all ages.
So to me, Xbox360 is pure muscle, Playstation2 is hype and force, and Nintendo is re-inventing the wheel.
3 great consoles, 3 spaced out release dates.... = many people will buy all 3.
