For crying out loud............................................................

You have succesfully stated models that are:
- long abandoned and have been replaced by BB theory
- not in contradiction with BB theory and which deal with OTHER things
- crackpot ideas that are nothing but pseudo-science that no scientist takes seriously. It's like offering astrology as an "alternative" to astronomy. Absurd.

Your ignorance is showing again.
No, no - she is "just asking questions", you see, and it matters not if the "questions" are stupid, ridiculous, outdated, etc., so for to dismiss the questions is to be AGAINST SCIENCE! Acting just like religionists! er, uh... scratch that last part...

Ok. Demonstrate that I can believe that some God at any time I choose to.
It's as simple as opening your mind to new possibilities... This is exactly what people do when they want to get in shape for example. At first it seems impossible because they have ingrained habits they have formed for years. So you first have to deliberately give yourself a pep talk whenever you go to work out. Once you know change is possible, you start to see change, even if it is in tiny increments. You might not think you can just decide to believe in God, but if you allow it as a possibility, and start to explore the benefits soon it will be a new groove that your brain accepts as normal.

Closed mind? I've read the gospels, as you've claimed I should. I've read the entire Bible as you've claimed I should. Where's the part where my mind is closed?

You said you "see God talking." I asked you where (an indication that my mind is not closed), and you said read the gospels. Well, I've already done that. I keep asking you for evidence, which again, is an indication that my mind is not closed, and again, you come up short. It's not my fault you can't provide any demonstration of your claims.
Have you read them in order to find faith or in order to find fault?
Have you genuinely prayed for discernment?

It is arrogant of you to presume that because I don't believe something that is important to you that my mind is not open to new possibilities. It's a big world and your beliefs are just a tiny speck of the new possibilities open to me.

I don't have this problem. I believe that I can do anything humanly possible that I set my mind to. Always have. Sometimes with hilarious results.

You might not think you can just decide to believe in God, but if you allow it as a possibility, and start to explore the benefits soon it will be a new groove that your brain accepts as normal.
What on Earth makes you think that I haven't allowed for the possibility. What on earth makes you think that I didn't ever believe it to be true?

I allowed for the possibility that there was no god when I still strongly believed. And when I stopped believing I worked under the assumption that I had missed something and spent the next decade suspending disbelief and diving head first into assorted belief systems, including more Christianity. No one was able to demonstrate to my satisfaction that they knew or were capable of knowing what they claimed to. Including me as a believer.

Don't admonish me about being open to new possibilities. You are ignorant of my life.

Now. Please. Demonstrate that I can believe that some god at any time I choose to.

I can't believe in things for which I find no convincing evidence or rational arguments. Even if I really, really, really want to believe it. I'm not interested in deluding myself. I'm interested in believing in true things and not believing in false things. What you've explained here is not a pathway to truth. It's a pathway to delusion.

I read them when I was a Christian. I prayed when I was a Christian. Which I said.
Well, some believers would say you were never really a Christian then, as many accept the Once saved, always saved doctrine. I don't necessarily believe that's always the case, but it is a real possibility.
