Do you really think that the assertions you post are "problems with science"?Way to avoid the problems with " science", by not addressing it.

Same here.Btw, the first few times that I read the entire Bible (not just the Gospels) it was with the belief that the whole thing was true. It wasn't till my third or fourth time through that I began to the cracks.
No, no - she is "just asking questions", you see, and it matters not if the "questions" are stupid, ridiculous, outdated, etc., so for to dismiss the questions is to be AGAINST SCIENCE! Acting just like religionists! er, uh... scratch that last part...For crying out loud............................................................
You have succesfully stated models that are:
- long abandoned and have been replaced by BB theory
- not in contradiction with BB theory and which deal with OTHER things
- crackpot ideas that are nothing but pseudo-science that no scientist takes seriously. It's like offering astrology as an "alternative" to astronomy. Absurd.
Your ignorance is showing again.
It would be a miracle if they did.Life is a miracle. Not all see that either.
Who did I plagiarize?Strange that the only support you can put forth for God is plagiarism and empty assertions.
It's as simple as opening your mind to new possibilities... This is exactly what people do when they want to get in shape for example. At first it seems impossible because they have ingrained habits they have formed for years. So you first have to deliberately give yourself a pep talk whenever you go to work out. Once you know change is possible, you start to see change, even if it is in tiny increments. You might not think you can just decide to believe in God, but if you allow it as a possibility, and start to explore the benefits soon it will be a new groove that your brain accepts as normal.Ok. Demonstrate that I can believe that some God at any time I choose to.
Do you have anything but insults? I thought not.The cop-out of the desperate and uninformed.
How could you know without ever trying? That's like saying you don't like cake when you refuse to eat cake.Yeah, that's why I'm not asking of god to talk to me, I'm asking why everyone it allegedly talks to gets a different story.
Because obviously leaning left could never influence their " science" especially if they are being funded by people with like views...Unless the scientist is aligned with the political right,
According to liberal " scholars" perhaps. Not in reality.Where in the New testament? The four gospels? They're of unknown authorship.
Have you read them in order to find faith or in order to find fault?Closed mind? I've read the gospels, as you've claimed I should. I've read the entire Bible as you've claimed I should. Where's the part where my mind is closed?
You said you "see God talking." I asked you where (an indication that my mind is not closed), and you said read the gospels. Well, I've already done that. I keep asking you for evidence, which again, is an indication that my mind is not closed, and again, you come up short. It's not my fault you can't provide any demonstration of your claims.
It is arrogant of you to presume that because I don't believe something that is important to you that my mind is not open to new possibilities. It's a big world and your beliefs are just a tiny speck of the new possibilities open to me.It's as simple as opening your mind to new possibilities...
I don't have this problem. I believe that I can do anything humanly possible that I set my mind to. Always have. Sometimes with hilarious results. This is exactly what people do when they want to get in shape for example. At first it seems impossible because they have ingrained habits they have formed for years
What on Earth makes you think that I haven't allowed for the possibility. What on earth makes you think that I didn't ever believe it to be true? You might not think you can just decide to believe in God, but if you allow it as a possibility, and start to explore the benefits soon it will be a new groove that your brain accepts as normal.
When I see people eating cake vomit in different colours, do I need to eat cake? How could you know without ever trying? That's like saying you don't like cake when you refuse to eat cake.
Why does this ever get asked? If there is good evidence for the claim, it doesn't matter.Have you read them in order to find faith or in order to find fault?
I can't believe in things for which I find no convincing evidence or rational arguments. Even if I really, really, really want to believe it. I'm not interested in deluding myself. I'm interested in believing in true things and not believing in false things. What you've explained here is not a pathway to truth. It's a pathway to delusion. You might not think you can just decide to believe in God, but if you allow it as a possibility, and start to explore the benefits soon it will be a new groove that your brain accepts as normal.
According to all credible academic scholars.According to liberal " scholars" perhaps. Not in reality.
I read them when I was a Christian. I prayed when I was a Christian. Which I said.Have you read them in order to find faith or in order to find fault?
Have you genuinely prayed for discernment?
It certainly does matter. Becaue you will find what you are looking for either way.Why does this ever get asked? If there is good evidence for the claim, it doesn't matter.
That assumes that everyone who eats cake vomits it up. This certainly isn't the case with cake or religion. When I see people eating cake vomit in different colours, do I need to eat cake?
Well, some believers would say you were never really a Christian then, as many accept the Once saved, always saved doctrine. I don't necessarily believe that's always the case, but it is a real possibility.I read them when I was a Christian. I prayed when I was a Christian. Which I said.
