I'm mostly familiar with Chang'e since in studying and worshiping Moon they are one of the many lunar gods I came across. Plus, there's a fair whack of Chinese international students in this town so the markets carry Moon Cakes for the festival and the hold events. I haven't been to one yet but I have had Moon Cakes. They're pretty great - I tend to love non-American sweets because they aren't stupidly overly sweet, just subtle sweet.

I've always wanted to try a moon cake...

I see Chang'e is associated with the fall festival. Few things are more moving than the moon on an autumn night; makes sense.
