LGBTQ

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Personally, I just think that Republicans are tired of being forced to look at everyone else's rights before their own.

It's My Birthday!
I didn't

no one said anything about verification. You asked about objective evidence of transgenderism
Perhaps I misunderstood you. So what did you mean when you said “Evidence for the existence of trans-sexuality is in brain scan differences” if not a means of objective evidence?

There are homosexual and trans black and brown people, so yes.
True; but the vast majority of them are white.
I think your suggestion is that because black and brown people have also been discriminated against, they are included. This suggests you believe in intersectionality.
No this is not about intersectionality, there are plenty of black and brown people who disagree with LGBTQ. As a matter of fact, there are a higher percentage of black people who disagree with this than white people; (I’m black so I have more knowledge of black issues than other races) especially when it comes to black churches compared to white churches. This would make blacks more guilty of LGBTQ bigotry than white people, yet they are put under the banner but white people are not.

I remember when President Obama signed an executive order mandating transgender access to all public facilities designated to the gender of which they identify.

There was no such executive order. Or such a mandate. Obama did write a letter on May 13, 2016 affirming the administration's stance that all students are protected from discrimination by title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) and its implementing regulations prohibit sex discrimination in educational programs and activities operated by recipients of Federal financial assistance. This prohibition encompasses discrimination based on a student’s gender identity, including discrimination based on a student’s transgender status.

Specifically it read:
"As a condition of receiving Federal funds, a school agrees that it will not exclude, separate, deny benefits
to, or otherwise treat differently on the basis of sex any person in its educational programs or activities
unless expressly authorized to do so under Title IX or its implementing regulations. ...This means that a school must not treat a transgender student differently from the way it treats other students."

At the gym I went to at the time this meant biological males were given access to the female locker rooms and shower facilities.
Bull
There were even lesbians who had a problem with this. Now according to the LGBTQ advocates, this would make them LGBTQ bigots; which makes no sense at all because they only have issue with Trans, not all the other people under the Pride flag. This is the problem with trying to put multiple groups under the same banner, and paint anybody who disagree with the banner with the same broad brush; you end up with people under the banner disagreeing with each other; making them bigots against themselves.
No the problem would be individuals misrepresenting the facts

Here's the thing that got me -men transitioning and then competing in women's sports, I mean, I am sorry if you cannot pass a gender DNA test, I really am sorry, but maybe if you can't pass it you can't compete. I don't know.

No, they are just tired of their own rights being a second thought.
They're victims, eh.
What I hear from them is loud concern for only their own rights,
but loathing & dismissal for the rights of others, eg, gay marriage,
4th Amendment protections, separation of church & state.

All that shows is that bigotry is colorblind.

and what rights are Republicans being denied to being given a back seat to?
Well, for starters, ask Laken Riley, Kate Steinie, Jeremy Caceras, Shannon Jungwirth and her son Jorge, Melissa Powell and her son Riordan Powell, Catalina Andrade and Merced Ballon, and Aiden Clark about their rights and whether or not they can exercise them.

Interesting. I don't know a single person who is opposed to gay marriage or anything else on your list.

I'm curious about your answer to the question posed too.
But your response evades it.

Your not knowing people in your circle who oppose
gay marriage doesn't mean Republicans aren't hostile
to it. Consider Justice Thomas, who wants to reconsider
SCOTUS having ruled it's a right, ie, to consider reversing
that decision.

It absolutely does not "evade it" - it answers it.
It says only to ask other people.
It doesn't clearly state anything...just hints at
something about difficulties of deciding who
can compete against whom when sexual
transition complicates things.

Like I have been saying, I don't know anyone who is vocal or opposed in real life to anything on your list.

I often wonder myself. I wonder why it isn't just Q. It's that Q that bonds us together as a historically broader marginalized group. The inclusion of the T still probably indicates the need to sometimes specify certain smaller groups, often not well represented in the past.

You don't seem to know many people.
I know many Marxists, Christians, Muslims, Magas,
conservatives, liberals, Jews, libertarians, etc, etc.
