Evidence for the existence of trans-sexuality is in
brain scan differences.
When a person say they are trans, and wants gender affirming surgery, are they required to see a Neurologist to get a brain scan to confirm they have the brain of the opposite sex? Or does the therapist just take their word for it.

You basically asked if there was any objective evidence that transgenderism exists and you got provided an answer. All you did here was dismiss the answer and try to turn being trans into some sort of petty whim. so much for your claims about just being curious.

You're asking a non-expert instead of
doing your own internet search. This
suggests your question is rhetorical.
And intended to dismiss trans folk
as illegitimate.

You made the claim that transgenderism can be verified using brain scans. I simply asked; if transgenderism is being verified this way, or are they just taking their words for it These are legitimate questions. Do you have a problem with me asking questions?

It's not my job to do research to confirm your claims; that's your job.

If I don't understand something, I ask questions in an effort to get an understanding. Do you have a problem with this?
I don't mean to contend your integrity, but I must confer that this was not the impression that your line of questioning bestowed me with.

The simple answer is that the gay and trans liberation have common goals and a shared history.
If you'd like to learn more, 'Transgender History' by Susan Stryker is a good book that will go into more detail, or I would be happy to answer questions in good faith about the history of the movement.

Many who try to cleave the 'LGB' from the LGBT do so for hate reasons, so it's not a position that I or many others feel the need to spend time debating.

I didn't

no one said anything about verification. You asked about objective evidence of transgenderism
or are they just taking their words for it These are legitimate questions. Do you have a problem with me asking questions?
"or are they just taking their words for it" shows your question is far less that legitimate and exists to be dismissive.

I have problems with loaded agenda driven questions

Black and brown people have been added to the Pride Flag as well right?

There are homosexual and trans black and brown people, so yes.

I think your suggestion is that because black and brown people have also been discriminated against, they are included. This suggests you believe in intersectionality. While this might be the case, I still think the reason why transfolk are included is because they have suffered the same kind of discrimination and have been lumped together by the bigots who just see traditional gender and sexual roles being broken.

I remember when President Obama signed an executive order mandating transgender access to all public facilities designated to the gender of which they identify. At the gym I went to at the time this meant biological males were given access to the female locker rooms and shower facilities. There were even lesbians who had a problem with this. Now according to the LGBTQ advocates, this would make them LGBTQ bigots; which makes no sense at all because they only have issue with Trans, not all the other people under the Pride flag. This is the problem with trying to put multiple groups under the same banner, and paint anybody who disagree with the banner with the same broad brush; you end up with people under the banner disagreeing with each other; making them bigots against themselves.
