Only Left handed path folk. This is same faith debates.

This is a thought experiment. Inspired by three books I read. One was on the left handed path in general and briefly mentioned Jesus could be a left handed deity. The other two were on a path a person created called Christian Satanism. I was unsatisfied with all three books in general but decided to mull a bit on the idea of jesus as a left handed occult deity. Here's how Jesus could be a left handed occult deity:

First things first we have to let go of the idea of Jesus as a Christian deity. Just as many Satanists have changed how they view Satan as an abrahamic being. Then we would gave to decide what makes up the left handed path? How does Jesus line up?

Anti authoritarianism and rebellion.
Jesus was known to be rebellious and often went against authority. If we were to include some ideas of gnosticism then he is a deity going against the demiurge. Some gnostics believe him and Satan work together to take down the Demiurge and put forth the ideas of the goddess Sophia

Light bringer aspects
In the bible Jesus calls himself the Morning Star. Lucifer is a title not a name. Jesus has been called historically Lucifer. If so perhaps a person could put ideas forth of Lucifer(Satan) and Lucifer(Jesus) as the same being just different aspects.

Upstaging norms
Both Christians and followers of the left handed path would be outraged by the idea of Jesus being a left handed deity. This means following Jesus as such is abnormal and would turn heads. It is a form of being contradictory a form of going against the norms.

Autotheism
If instead of viewing Jesus as the son of God or having a Trinitarian /Christian ideology we were to view Jesus as a human that became a god then he is a god that could help assist in self deification in helping them become a god. This view is very left handed. It is not uncommon for theistic practioners to work with deities to assist them on the journey of self deitifaction instead of serving a deity.

These are just a few ideas that come to mind. So what you think? Could Jesus be LHP?

Yes, these are some good arguments for Jesus being LHP. Jesus still had "Thy will be done" instead of "My will be done" in the Lord's Prayer.

That is true. Didn't think of that. Let's be honest tho...how many people would actually agree with every sentence of the Bible?

I'm thinking a person being lhp probably wouldn't view Satan in a biblical view. I don't anyway. I doubt they would jesus.

But it is a very good argument for him to not be an lhp deity. And one reason I wouldn't use him as one.
