So you just made it up, in other words.
I’ll have to back up @SkepticThinker on this one. Every single solitary time I’ve ever watched, encountered or even heard about someone trying to ban a book, once you ask them to describe it, the banner in question belies their own ignorance of the source material. Every single time.
It happened with Harry Potter, it happened with To Kill a Mocking Bird, it happened with 1984 (somewhat ironically) it happened with The Lord of the Rings (again somewhat ironically since Tolkien was a devout Catholic) I’ve even seen it happen with Roald Dahl!
No matter the country even, which is honestly kind of impressive

I’m just saying, it’s a very easy thing to infer when the precedent has been set so often, that pop culture has been referencing it for decades at this point. For example the Simpsons literally made it into a joke character back in the 90s (Helen Lovejoy.) Like it’s literally a cliche at this point
