Life is ...

Life is long, say the old folks.

That's a line that's stayed with me from Alexander Solzhenitsyn's semi-autobiographical novel, Cancer Ward.

"Life's a piece of ****,
when you look at it.
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show,
keep 'em laughin' as you go,
just remember that the last laugh is on you." - Brian

Life is a game I used to play as a kid.

Please continue the titular sentence. Thank you.

Life is a river to peacefully sail through.

If you allow yourself to be so affected by happiness and suffering, then that is what life will be to you. But, if you sail through it peacefully, it will be a blissful experience.

This is what I learned from Swami Sarvapriyananda.
