If I had the choice to either live a finite life that has much suffering and misery to help others, make the world a better place, contribute to society, etc. or to instead live an eternal life that is blissful, has no suffering or illness, is eternally blissful, and is a life where I can get what I want, then I would choose the latter.
That is the only thing I value. Since that is the only thing I value, then this is my only basis for value judgment. That is the only way I can be a valuable person and my life valuable and worth living. So having that would make me the much better person than those who would choose the former. I view myself as being the better person than those other types of kind altruistic people who are in great suffering and illness in less developed parts of the world. People who would choose the former lifestyle I presented above would have a different basis for value judgment.
They would see their altruistic and self-sacrificing personalities as defining the value of a human being and the value of their lives. So they would see themselves as the much better person than me while I see myself as the much better person than them. The attributes of the latter lifestyle do not dictate the value of a human being or the worth of one's life for those other types of people I mentioned while these attributes are the sole determining factor of the value and worth of me and my life.
I do not value death and nor do I value any condemning religion that expects you to worship and serve a god. I do not serve or dedicate my life to anybody. I am only here to be happy, to have as little misery and suffering as possible in my life, and to get what I want in life. What I want to happen to me after I die is for there to be an eternal blissful afterlife for me.
Everything in this life must work out in my favor, otherwise I would become violent and I would stab myself and laugh while blood is gushing out of me since I don't have to obey anyone who expects me to live such a life I don't value. The only life I value is one where everything works out in my favor. I refuse to live a life that is not meant for me. I don't care about my family or anything/anyone else. My only reason for being here in this life is to have everything work out in my favor.
