Little boy in a dream...

majority

New Member
My wife has been having a strange dream the past few nights, and i am beginning to worry about her, i believe a demon may be following her.
From what she explained to me the dream starts out when she is in a old house we used to live in. In the house there is a little boy, she said she gets a feeling from the little boy that it is trying to drive people away from here and try to get her alone, she says she is standing near set of stairs when she feels something grab her shoulders, pick her up and float her down the stairs and land her on her knees, she said it is a very dark dream. Her father is a pastor and her mother is a very strong believer, we had talked to them and they thing the boy may symbolize a ancestor.
I'm very worried a demon may be following my wife, can somebody help or maybe explain what this could be. I tried praying, but something just feels wrong.

Friend majority,

Little boy in a dream...

Personally would not bother about any dream be they scare or bring riches.
Just see that see has good sleep and could help if the place is changed like maybe take a holiday just a weekend off to a nearby place.

Well, just a suggestion and you are free to do what you wish.

Cliche as it might sound, your wife's dream fits the standard psychoanalytic archetype "the inner child". There is some underdeveloped aspect of herself that would like to be addressed and allowed to mature.

The idea she's being followed by a demon is ludicrous. Everybody has dreams like these.

That's what the priest thought on the Exorcist and look where it got him.

lol. Well, now I retract my comment and add the following caveat:

Observe your wife while she sleeps. If she is surrounded by a few hundred people operating various tools, lights, cranes, dollies, cameras and clipboards, she is definitely possessed. If not, she is having a bog standard "inner child" dream.

What method you'll use to defeat this demon depends on what level it is and how many hit points it has. If you have the mana for it I recommend opening up with a shocking grasp then follow up with a volley of magic missile. You'll need some decent fire and shadow resist gear before hand.

Perhaps you should advise him to put his talent points in Holy and use Exorcism. It would help to have a glyph on his spellbook as well. Might be good to lay down Consecration first just to give a little extra oomph.

hi :) she sees the same dream every night?

Islamic advice is to think positive and speak positively about dreams. if not, don't say anything at all. if your wife feels irritated because of this dream then she needs to let it go. it is just a dream and each time she wakes up. i don't know if she believes in God. if she does it is best for her to turn to God and stop fearing. btw little boy in dreams is always considered good in our culture

Maybe you get this kind of answers because you post it in this section -

Joke or not - I know the kind of fear pentecostal/charasmatic people start to generate when they get hold of your dreams.
Don't make the mistake and blame all unexplainable on the Devil/demons or God.
Start a process of elimination:
eg. - did she had an abortion ? - seek help (OUTSIDE YOUR CHURCH).
- was a baby stillborn, hers or a sibbling.
- Do you have children - talk to them, maybe one of them are hidding some major crises from you.

See the dream as a answer to a question in someone heart close to you. Don't personalize it.
Usualy it is NOT about the dreamer -an answer was just given to him/her.

Welcome to RF! Could the little boy have been a spirit that lived in your old house? He may have become attached to your wife and followed her. I wouldn't say you have a demon just yet. Has anything happened other than dreams?

You should drill a hole in her head. I heard that helps.
