Gotta agree with you. As an amateur artist I sometimes find myself taken by the experience, most often when the ink responds to variations in pressure, which isn't common among generic pens. As my dad sometimes said: Ya gotta have the right equipment to win the Indy 500.

A mizrab fashioned from a paper clip using a pair of needle-nosed pliers.
A mizrab is a unique kind of plectrum for playing sitar.
Done correctly, the mizrab has an ideal shape at the tip, which improves one's playing 100%, and is just one length bent to fit the index finger using the natural spring tension of the metal.
I love it when I get one just right.

I remember a day watching a flock of swallows. A strong wind blowing up a steep grassy hill ... The flock assembling at the top, and moving forward like stoked surfers at the break.... leaning into the updraft ... opening the wings ... and doing crazy 360s and 720s. I watched them for about a half hour. Lifted
Watching any creature fully enjoying is pure pleasure.

Camping. I love camping out beyond phone service.
You know those "can you hear me now" commercials?
There is one spot near where we like to camp, where you can stand on a rock on a cliff edge, waving your phone around until you catch a bar. LOL! That's it for an emergency.

I like to overhear my children (when they probably think noone can hear) being considerate or kind to each other -- like one going out of their way to do something for the other, or being generous.
