locusts in israel and egypt

Could this be a rational explaination for a Biblical phenomena or mircle?
That sometimes Locusts swarm in droves in the middle east or is it divine intervention and if so what is being intervined at this time?

Hmm...I think the whole point of most of those miracles was that they happened at the right time, not that they defied laws of physics/nature (that was just a side benefit when it did show up ). Some of the plagues were otherwise normal stuff, really, it was mostly the timing. So, yeah, I could see locusts as being an explaination for the locusts mentioned in the Bible...I don't think every time locusts show up it's divine intervention, though.
