Yeah, like that means anything.

That's like saying that "Occupy Wall Street" was the proper thermometer of what Americans wanted in terms of who became president in 2016.
Does it not matter that more and more Americans understand that war against Iran is a very wrong thing to go in to? By the way, America also attacked Bagdad this weekend.
What is next?

Why does America always want to fight wars? have you guys not lost enough people in wars yet?

It seems like More and more Americans have gotten enough of wars with the middle east.
Demonstrations in many American cities
Alas, there are still many who like the military strikes.
And as Iran retaliates, we increase the scope of strikes.
If it escalates to full fledged war, the same people will be
in favor of every step which led to it....because each act
was justified. And so the war is good....until it drags on
& on, & regret slips in.
The trick is to imagine where this process leads, before
beginning the process.

It is sad that people believe war can solve any problem. All it does is spreading more hate and more suffering.

Sometimes war is the best solution.
But leaders don't seem to have good judgement about that.
Well
I have heard told that war is good for business.
Now since Trump has convinced himself he the most successful business man on the planet....

This is partly the result of increased difference between the lower and upper class. The upper class has lost touch with and is once again getting the lower class involved in unnecessary overseas conflicts. This is just human nature when the differences are allowed to become so great.

Wait till the draft.

Will There Be a Draft? Young People Worry After Military Strike

I'm ex military from the mid eighties. If things get so desperate where they call an old man with heart issues and diabetes. I'll go.

Point being , it's getting blown out of proportion.

Iran is not actually stupid with a death wish. There will be something at the diplomat end after it's all over and settled down.

In the meantime, all of it makes for good sensationalistic news stories that sells.

I think it's high time to address the middle East and settle things once and for all. One way or another. People are simply getting tired of this violent part of the world and wish to put an end to it. At least collectively.
Lots of people a simply getting tired of American military jingoism and wish to put an end to it.
Doesn't mean it's going to happen any time soon.

"The rest of the world" is no more able to end USA violence than the USA is able to force middle easterners to forget the recent past.
It just won't happen.
