Lost my job

So, I found out on Thursday that I was losing my job at the end of October.

I have been with this company for 14 years! Longer than I have been married! They got rid of our whole department and a lot of what we did is being sent to China. I have heard the Obama has set up some pretty good benefits for people whose jobs have gone over seas. Guess I will have to look into that.

My husband and I chatted and I am going to take the severance and take a couple of months off. We will have to see what we are going to do after that.
