I think so in context of my faith.
When one understands the love that God has for us, faith arises that He will be there to help us.

Basically, yes as love is both a cognitive and emotional attraction. Is it good? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I personally think that it is just as true for our fellow man.
In most cases, true love has a position of faith in that person. (I'm sure there are always exceptions)
