Of course I agree with this but it rarely gets a good response from non-theist. It's perceived as a cop-out way of excussing all sorts of atrocities (magnified by 10) committed by the evil Christians or what have you.

As far as I know they are if they "come to Jesus", as far as I'm led to believe anyone can be "saved"

God loves the sinner, including a murderer, enough to offer them the opportunity to repent, be forgiven and be free from sin. If the sinner refuses to turn away from sin then they can't live in a sin free place like heaven.

If you repent and are genuine enough then you can be forgiven.

Some people would not be capable of this though as sin is too ingrained in them.

I just don´t get why new chances are such a problem
