Love the sin - hate the sinner

It's an "antithesis" kind of thing.

You know, like an upsidedown cross.

You turn the saying on it's head,
and as I said before,
it actually works in a humorously ironic way.
(from the angle I'm reading it at, anyway)

I gotta say, UV, that you are the only person I know here who would twist your neck so as to look upside down at a thread title to see if it would be funny that way.

You're weird; must be why I like ya. :)

perhaps a master at work that you don't especially care for.

could be the supervisor, manger, landlord, owner etc..

basically anyone who feels you should respect them just because they have some artificial position of authority over you.

Such are artificial titles, bad supervisors and managers can be replaced if enough complaints are made to the HR administrators of a company, O yeah, I know this from personal experience. A little LBM from yourself and certain other employees can go a long ways. As for landlords, well, if you pay your rent on time and don't cause any legal troubles, you don't have anything to worry about. The True Black Magician is the Master of his own Life and situation.

Xeper.

Heh, just being clever.

Since LHP involves rebelliousness, wouldn't the saying be changed to "Love the sin - hate the sinner"? I don't see why you would hate the sinner, maybe something relevant to what the guy in the S.I.N said: "I hate everyone equally".

What do you think?

Personally (and said in the greatest respect for everyone's views expressed here), I prefer "Love to sin, and love sinners." :D

But maybe that's just the rebel in me.
