Loved Ones In Hell

Even the criminals who died on the cross with Jesus went to heaven.

Of the millions of sinners and evil people who die each year, all have families who loved them.

There are many "Christian" beliefs as to what happens to you after you die. some believe that you lay sleeping till the last trumpet when all will arise and are judged.
Others like myself believe that our souls return to God, where they can repent and are washed clean of sin. I do not believe in a physical resurrection and new life on earth.

I do not know if we ever "See" our loved ones again, any more than a caterpillar would recognise his fellows when they become butterflies.
None of our sins, fears nor worries, nor any other of our attributes follow us when we die. Nor do we remember now anything from before we were born.

We come from and return to God as a clean slate.

Interesting. In our physical bodies? And if so, the same corpse or a freshly new fleshpile?

I know you don't believe in physical resurrection, but according to those that do.

It also makes me curious if the ancient egyptians might of, and that's why they preserved their bodies.

Christians once believed it was the same body renewed. However this changed over time to accommodate the thought that not all bodies survive death.
But it prevented the acceptance of cremation till recent times.
Today those believers would say that we rise to a new body.

This is all too much hocus pocus for me. But it satisfies some peoples craving to continue in human form... which is both unlikely and unnecessary.
