I've never tried it (or let alone seen it) but I can't say I'm feeling an urge to.
It is not an inferior choice by any means.

Well, good for you!I didn't give up alcohol through choice; but having been forced to for health reasons (not due to dependency), after 3 years "dry" I can honestly say I wouldn't go back to alcohol if it was OK to do so. I say that as someone who drank alcoholic beers, malt whiskies and wines for virtually 40 years.
You know, I’ve been drinking Canadian Club recently. Lol it’s not badGo get yourself a nice bourbon-barrel aged beer, and move from bogan to classy. Like me. Ahem.
I have this beastie downstairs, just waiting for the right moment.

Though my heart will always belong to Brandy which may be French? (in particular Napoleon or St Remy Brandy.) Parents used it as a cold remedy and I guess I developed a taste for it?? Lol
I did try some German beer when I was in England. Was quite tasty, though it appears I’ve forgotten the brand (and the night it went with lol)There are brandy-barrel aged beers. Some good ones, too. Deschutes The Abyss had a brandy-barrel aged version, although it's limited edition, and I think some years Prairie Noir is brandy-barrel aged too.
I drink CC with dry occasionally. One of my mates likes it. I'm fine with it, just prefer a good beer. Particularly something dark, and warming.

Haha feel freeGerman beer is very consistent, but you get less varietals, since they have purity laws which only allow hops, barley, water and yeast in beer.
That's why they add other flavours at the time of pouring in a classic Berliner Weisse, rather than during brewing the way it would be done in Australia.
I can geek out on this stuff all day, be warned...lol
