MAGA Marge Claims Dominion Voting Machines are Switching Votes in Georgia

I've only had one voting experience where they had touch screens. It was when touch screen technology was new. I couldn't get it to register the selections I wanted or it would select a different field. I asked for help, and the poll worker watched me trying to vote, and watched them registering wrong selections or not registering anything at all. I had to have the poll worker vote for me. After that, I always requested an absentee ballot until our state went to all mail in voting.
It is an overly complicated system that has been phased out in most states as I understand, but as you remember, I suspect, you knew immediately that it was not rendering your vote per your request before you printed it to put in the tabulator, unless you were in one of two red states that didn't print the ballot before tabulating it. anyhow, the fill in the circles with a pen is the modern standard for just this reason. NY's new handicap system uses a touch screen with multiple input sources including mouse etc, but then prints the ballot like this for normal tabulation. I will see it in action soon maybe. Everybody I have worked with that had problems filling in the ballots so far has used an assistant. :)

This didn't print out a ballot. (It was when touch screen technology was very new. It had the old 16 color graphics.) It was in Washington state during the 1980's.

EDIT: And I would not be surprised if Dominion goes after Greene. Freedom of speech does not include slander.
Especially since they've been winning in court.
Perhaps those Jewish Space Lasers can take her out? Wouldn't that be a grand way to find out she was right? Except I think nobody told her History of the World Pt. 1 isn't really history and is a work of satarized fiction peppered with some basis in history. And the French Revolution happened, someone needs to send her the memo Jews in Space did not and they do not have Star of David spaceships.

If it is a touch screen system and has small fields, it could register the wrong field if the touch screen calibration is not tuned to the person using it. They would be better off using mouse clicks rather than touch screens if they have a problem with incorrect field selection, or redesign the fields to be larger and further apart. At one of my old jobs, I would have to recalibrate the screen every time I logged on, as it would register the wrong fields if I didn't.
I've never seen one of these.
But, does it not have a "Confirm your vote" screen at the end? What I mean is it says something like "You chose Trump, ..... Confirm or Change"

It was a long time ago, and my only experience with touch screen voting. And yes, it did let me know which vote it registered, when it registered one.

I would just remove the touch screen part altogether. Start with a paper ballot that can be machine read, with an alternate form of voting for blind people or otherwise handicapped people. Your mileage may vary.

That is what everybody is going too, present your self, check signature/ ID, then Ballot is printed for you, fill it in with pen and feed it to tabulator. Simple reliable and there is hard copy of each vote for recounts.
Printing individual ballots is cheaper than mass printing an unknown guestimated quantity in advance and does not require the lead time.

I think the machine that malfunctions a lot is her brain.

By which time it is too late to change.
I voted successfully. I just had to have the poll worker vote push the touchscreen for me. I went during the day, so it wasn't busy. The only other time I actually went to the polls, they had these cards that you set on a gridded tray and used an awl to punch holes in your selections. The rest of the time they mailed me a ballot that I took to a drop box.
