So, I recently found out that due to injuries sustained to both of my hands while in the military, I will be receiving a VA Disability rating.
What this means is that the VA will be paying for a complete vocational retraining.
That translates into 48 months (four years) of higher education.
So, starting next fall, I will be attending UCCS full time to get a degree in Secondary School Education. With an emphasis in Biology and Earth Sciences.

That's right, I could be teaching your kids someday!!

That's awesome! (Aside from the part about you being disabled, of course. ;))

I'd love to go back to school full-time. And judging from your posts on here, I'd be happy for you to teach my kids. I think you'd make a great teacher. Good luck, man.

Thanks everyone. It's been twenty years since I last took a college class. This is going to be an amazing adventure.
