He has been around a long time. His personal website is:
www.randi.org To date nobody has actually collected on it. Famous median Sylvia Browne gave it a go years ago and according to the site bombed. I remember reading that but now can't find it on the site. They asked her to come back and she said yes some 3 years plus ago but has since changed her mind.

Most of the emphasis seems to be on challenging mediums a really interesting read from the site is here:
www.randi.org/library/coldreading/index.html

From what I understand he puts the median in a controlled enviroment with a neutral audience so that the medium cannot read their body language and must "read" their mind for answers. I think I read that on a Micheal Shermer essay somewhere. But I am not sure. That was a really really long time ago.

As far as I am aware nobody has collected as of date. I tired to google him giving out the money but no go. Anybody know if anyone has ever collected?

how does science explain the connection between a dog and it's owner?like knowing the owner is coming home?

That's great... throw cash around to entice people who could care less about cash! It builds your ego and you think you are proving something!

Where is Uri Geller when we need him? There was a UFO researcher/debunker by the name of Phillip Klass who used to offer the sum of $10,000 for infallible evidence of UFOs but I do not think anyone has made claim to that prize either. What ever happened to the days of THE MILLIONAIRE where someone gave it $1,000,000 freely without all this need to work for it?

Environmental clues. The sound of the car in the driveway, the sense of time, the sound of the door opening. There is probably more.

thanks, none of this applies though because i was referring to the owner being a few minutes(or more) away from the home as i have witnessed this a few times.and i'm not talking about the owner coming home from work and beinh on schedule either.

well dogs have a very good sense of hearing and can here sounds that we can't, so for all we know the dog may recognize a specific sound the car makes so it could probably hear the car while it's still a few minutes away. but that has nothing to do with this.

i wonder if anyone will prove anything that this guy has set out to disprove.

Yes, I'm sure the reason no one has ever been able to demonstrate clairvoyance or channeling or telepathy is because Randi offers too much money, rather than because those powers are imaginary.
