Man sets up fake online dating profile pretending to be a woman

"he set out to prove a point about how easy women have it..."

ha-ha-hahahaha!

I read this story too. Funny how it takes a man to experience things from a woman's point of view before women who have been saying this for years and years are finally listened to. Kind of like the "Tootsie" phenomenon, where Dustin Hoffman got it when it came to the culture of objectification and appearance to determine a woman's worth when all he did was play the role and then move on to other manly roles.

It also reminded me of the story of the black woman who couldn't find a job for the life of her on Monster.com, but then decided to re-submit her application but listed her race as "white." Next thing you know, she's inundated with job offers in her inbox.

The relevance is that with the man in the linked dating site story, Dustin Hoffman, and white people on Monster.com, all get to enjoy privilege at the end of the day.

Women sure do have it easy, with menstruation, childbirth, second-class citizenship in some countries, etc.

I can't help but be disgusted by the piggish behavior of the men mentioned in the article. I'm a man myself, but I still can't fathom how they think such sexually harassing behavior is acceptable.

Hehehe!

I loved the part where he says it made him (a regular at 4chan) feel uneasy.
Blimey, it must've been intense!

It's nothing we're not all used to. I've tried online dating myself and didn't come across anything guys haven't sometimes said straight to my face out in public. The only difference is that it's a little harder and more technical to laugh and walk away on the internet.

Yeah, a guy I knew used to go on and on to me and my roommate how "easy" we have it when it comes to sex and dating. He had the notion that we could walk up to pretty much any man, proposition him directly for sex, and get sex.

So my friend and I decided to science his hypothesis and we both went out (separately) and tried to seduce a man with a simple and direct request for sex.

We both turned up at home alone around the same time. Our targeted males had both panicked and run away as soon as we popped the question - despite both of them having previously behaved in a way that clearly showed they were interested - and we spent the rest of the night laughing about it.

In retrospect, the guy was probably trying to say HE would like to have sex with us, and wished we'd ask him. The subtle approach.

I give the guy immense credit for changing his opinion of how easy women have it based on actually evidence they don't have it all that easy. Most people -- male and female both -- seldom enough pay attention to things that might change a genuinely reasonable person's opinion.

Like these:

Asking 100 Girls For Sex (Social Experiment) - YouTube

The woman got a "yes" from 7/14 men and the man got a "yes" from 0/100 women.

It's probably a lot easier if a female model literally wants super-random sex than if a male model wants super-random sex, but as the OP shows, it's not any easier for women to get a suitable date or partner than a man.

Also a redditor on 4chan that was made uneasy by the messages he got? lol what a crybaby.

By the same token, do you think a woman who is made uncomfortable by the messages she gets is a crybaby? Just curious.

Emphasis on suitable. That's because there's only one of me and I just can't get around to every woman who wants a suitable partner. I'm spread pretty thin as it is with my vast monthly bookings.

If said person is a regular user on 4chan then yeah.

If you'd know what was going on there you'd agree with me.
