Mankind in the next millenium

What will we be doing?
will we learn from our past mistakes?
How will technology affect us?

I think most of the general problems we have within ourselves will still be there, like why are we here and so on.
I think most of the diseases we have now will be gone, but will only be replaced by new ones.

You won't be doing anything - you'll be dead! - unless you hope for genetic engineering to produce an opportunity for everlasting life!:D

I agree with you though.

Firstly there is no knowing where civilization on Earth will be in 3000; Earth might not even exist......

I am sure, as you say, that if we manage to eradicate present diseases, they would be replaced by even more frightening and virulent ones. But is Earth is still on the 'go' in the year 3000, there will be people like us, saying "Where will we be in the next millenium".:D
