Should it be legal to not only buy it at a dispensary but also legal to grow a limited amount for personal use (both without a medical card)?

I would put a poll but people whine about polls not having their choice or enough choices.

So .... Feel free to give your own unrestricted and unlimited answer.

I'd promote its use as a medicine.

Discourage it's recreational use, although I vouch for its use as a personal choice.

I live in a state where both medical and recreational cannabis are legal. People can grow a certain amount for personal use without a license.

Yes to both.
In Canada you can grow your own, buy it from a medical dispensary or from a regular cannabis store, which there are a ton of in, like, almost every plaza on every corner.

Recreational use of cannabis illegal everywhere in the U.K. but it’s smoked quite openly. Some medical use is allowed, and one of the two psychoactive chemicals, CBD but not the hallucinogenic THC, can be bought over the counter in chemists.

It just seems absurd that the government are missing out on all that tax revenue, plus if it was legal it could be properly regulated in the way alcohol and tobacco are regulated. I wouldn’t personally advocate the use of recreational drugs, but prohibition has always been an abject failure. The legal status of cannabis in my country is just plain daft.

I was shocked when my doctor recommended it in pill form without the THC.

Unfortunately I cannot use it as I have a federal license.

All drugs should be decriminalized. Weed and other psychodelics should be treated in much the same way as alcohol, although they are less dangerous. Yes, you should be able to grow cannabis. The idea that a plant is illegal is totally absurd.

I don't smoke pot. Never have.
But I'm for it being legal. It would end the illegal sell on it, bring in tax money, wouldn't send people to an already over crowded prison system, would probably mellow out a lot of people that need it lol

When my state legalized there was quite a boom in small business dispensaries. I'm curious how many of them will survive the competition. I live in a small rural town (pop. ~14,000) and we have at least 10 dispensaries!

As for all drugs, nope. For example I have seen too many methed up people doing crazy crap.

Competition will keep from price gouging.

I think I read that in states where its legal, its still illegal federally. The way I understood it is.. lets say a trooper pulls you over, you have a little weed, no biggie. But if a fed pulls you over, its illegal.

Its already legal in many places. I smell it all over the place now! Its a terrible development for our declining culture! Everyone will be paying the price for pot heads all over doing nothing! I hear recovering addicts in NY city complain that its all over the place! In the hallways, on the streets, in the subways.

Politicians In 20 years...... "more money needs to be provided by congress to pay for drug rehab becuse rehab is a human right" bla bla bla !
