The Seattle Bernie Sanders rally was shut down by Black Lives Matter protestors, taking the stage by force moments after Bernie took the stage. Huffington Post article and video below.

This is a bad publicity stunt by a worthy cause. had the speaker shown more respect to Sanders and actually allowed the Rally to continue after interputing, this could well have worked (though it certainly would not have been welcome). Short and sweet would have got the message accross just to remind people of the issue and perhaps get Sanders to address it as he opened up the rally as he tried to get back on to his message. its not about the speaker; its about what's being said. Sadly, this backfired and I imagine it will harden opinion to ignore it rather than change opinion in the way the speaker wanted.

Odd considering Hillary hasn't fashioned policies relevant to...well, anything. The irony is that Bernie is the only candidate actually talking about black issues, but these protestors look like they want strong affirmative action. They're doing it to Bernie precisely because he is sympathetic to minorities and will yield the floor when pressured. Also, they clearly don't have the 2700 bucks to attend one of Hillary's dinners.

It's also possible that Bernie is the low hanging fruit of the campaign, ie, he has much less
security than Hillary, whose hired goons would no doubt thump & dump the interlopers.
I'll wager they don't even care what Bernie's politics are.

For sure. For all we know, BLM could have already made an attempt at Hillary's stage, but we'd never known.

We'd know. Within minutes the world would hear of these "racist goons" who refused to let BLM speakers be heard, and it would be plastered all over the web first coming from the overly-sensative knee-jerk over reactionists, then from people defending her security as just doing their job, and then from apologetics on all sides involved.
