Matt Gaetz and "over-educated women."

On Tuesday, Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz (Florida) said, “How many of the women rallying against overturning Roe are over-educated, under-loved millennials who sadly return from protests to a lonely microwave dinner with their cats, and no bumble matches?”

Is he alone, or do many other Republicans prefer their women uneducated, without the means of evaluating right and wrong for themselves, making choices for themselves -- but prefer them dumb, in the kitchen, making delicious dinners for the men in their lives -- and always available for "bumble matches?" (Always when he cares for such matches, and hasn't already bumped his uglies (The American Dream) elsewhere?)

I've never heard the term "bumble matches" before.

And I wonder if over educated me are as bad as over educated women?

Conservatives don't want people to be "over-educated" (or educated at all), because the more knowledgeable a voter is, the harder it is to deceive and manipulate them into voting against their own interests. They like being able to instill and exploit people's fears and mawkish religious/patriotic sentiments.

Oh isn’t he that guy who threw a temper tantrum when people called him out on his transphobic kids book?

The polite version of my thoughts on such an individual is he should return to his pathetic little cave and stop making the rest of the cavemen look bad.

(and I don’t care what political aisle he hails from. Not American so don’t care.)

Oh, you have no idea how many ways people have found to express the same thing. As I pointed out, "bumping your uglies" comes from Edward Albee's play, "The American Dream." Another great one is "huggle-bunny-burgers" from James Kirkwood's "There Must be a Pony."

Edited --- I made a boo-boo (was going to say "boner" but thought better of it). The Kirkwood book is "PS, Your Cat is Dead."

Are you complaining about Gaetz or the OP? It turns out that Gaetz likes the young stuff. 18 is just a bit too old for him:D:eek:
I am so over this misogynist crap coming from the GOP that I took a moment to poke at someone posing as retired fogle who taught me what this bumble thing is, and it's apparently a whippersnapper thing.
RF: Where kids stacked on eachother and posing as geriatrics teach the nearly middle aged about youth thingies, lmao.

Insecure white men don't want women, blacks, or hispanics to be in a better position than they are. They have frail egos to uphold.

And Matt Gaetz is relevant on issues of basic morality because...? ;)
Do you remember Goofus and Gallant in Highlights for Children magazine? I always wondered what happened to Goofus when he became an adult.

Now I know.
