Well, I will start I guess...
I have practiced martial arts (Chinese) for over 30 years now. I had formal training for 18 of those years under two teachers of the same lineage- My teacher Lu Long and another his top disciple which was a Buddhist monk and very good at my teachers Kungfu and aa rare style called red hair. I am the lineage holder to a style called "Lu Long Hsing Pai" which is a family style turned Taoist, I started this style at the age of eight and continue to practice and use it. I also have trained in an old Yang Taiji style passed to my teacher while he was a general in the Chinese army. This style incorporates much fajin and is not practiced so much like the orthodox Yang that you see everywhere – is it better, not sure! I have met some skilled Yang people so to me it is just a different version of the same style. Since I Learned traditionally I had to become a proficient fighter in order for my teacher to save face. I fought in ten full contact fighting matches and was the only one to ever emerge out of the matches undefeated. I also was a personal bodyguard for many of the Chinese people good and bad folks, all depended and why.
I grew up Catholic, which I do still like the religion very much so there will be no bashing here, its just since a very young age I didnt have any faith and the Priest which was a family friend always agreed with my sentiment. I am in the middle of writing two books on how to use the rosary and all the prayers that go with it, the Catholic religion is quite beautiful to me and I hope some will be able to learn and cherish these books since it is a lost art among many of the followers. I am also in the middle of writing a few books on Taoism, which if you check out my calendar web site I believe they are mentioned.
When I was roughly 16 years of age I became an ordained Taoist and accepted into a particular lineage as a Jushi. I memorized the book of Laotzu and other scriptures across the board, as well I became proficient in various Taoist meditation practices and Taoist ritual. By the time I was of the age of 18 I became a Taoishi, a full fledged Taoist Priest within the lineage of the Pole Star sect (bejipai).
Now, I am married and have a beautiful child. My hobbies are surfing and building, racing and admiring vintage motorcycles.
