Men have standing to tell women how to be women?

Gloria Steinem wrote a book entitled The Truth Will Set You Free But First It Will **** You Off.

I wonder if any man has standing in any venue to pretend to be an expert on women.

Imagine how fast things would change on this world if all woman crossed their legs until things improved?

I used to joke, sort of, that I was going for a PhD in Women’s Studies, but I eventually figured out that was truly dumbass, because only a woman can know what it’s like to be a woman.

Maybe in 2015 this little poem came out of me as was getting ready to go to a monthly Key West Poetry Guild reading,

"Bi Polar”

the world's favorite mood disorder
the cause of all human ails,
including wars,
if the demons aren't counted
bi polar disorder,
the destruction of the
south pole,
the feminine,
the north pole,
he ain't been
right in the head
since she’s been gone

Maybe in 2017, this ‘un showed up as I was getting ready to attend a monthly Key West Poetry Guild reading,

"Eve's Answer”

Vexing Truth
Life is Poetry,
Poetry is Life,
There's no more to say,
but that would make God
a really dull boy,
now wouldn't it, Eve?

So, Eve,What say you?
After all,You have been,
still are,
blamed,for everything that went wrong
with hu - MAN - i - ty.

Well, do you really want to hear
what I gotta say?
Is this one of those
be careful what you ask for pregnancies?
Well, is it?

Probably, but say what you wish -
I s'pect you need to be heard.

Heard?
Funny you mention ears.
Yes, ears.
Such important receptacles.
Yet filled with concrete,
****, propaganda, beliefs,certainties,
well, let's not leave out
SUPERSTITION and RELIGION,
now should we?

By the way,
where do ya suppose
God came from?
Or, out of?

And, why do ya s'pose
I made Eve
in my own IMAGE?’
'Cause Adam was
so bored and dull -
so ... predictable
He was BORING!!!
the **** outta me!!!
That's why.

Now
Shusssssh -
Don't go round quoting me
on any of that -
I've had quite enough of
the religious right
ta last me
the rest of forever!

Personally , I like that hot vixen trolip Lillith .

I suppose God just had to tone it down a bit with Eve , the girl you can take home to meet mama.

One of my daughters had a pet ball python named Lilith.
Eve did just what God designed her to do, and the reglion that claims she as their mother blamed her for it ever since, stone cold clueless that the only way to really appreciate God is to experience total absence from God for a while. Myth, Parable, Fact?
Did you ever read The Urantia Book and its report of the Creation, human evolution on Earth, Adam and Eve, and Jesus, and Satania, and many other things . So very different from the Bible, and zero mention of Lilith.

No just the Apocryphal books of the Bible.

It was a far better interesting read for me than the Old and New Testaments put together. The ancient Jews really knew how to tell a good story

I don't know why your question reminded me of Lamech (descendant of Cain)....

The Bible says that Lamech had two wives. The name of the first was Adah, who would have been the mother of Jabal, father of those who live in tents and tend cattle, and of Jubal, father of those who play the harp. The second wife's name was Zilá, who was the mother of Tubalcaim, a master in forging objects made of iron and copper, and Naamá. In a speech to his wives, Lamech states that he killed a man for hurting him and a young man for stepping on him, stating that Cain's revenge was seven times greater, but his was seventy times seven.... That is, an old way of threatening his two wives, if you can't even step on him, let alone betray him.... :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

The men in the early Christian church left a lot of interesting stuff out of their Bible.

A quick Google search snagged:
I
n rabbinic literature Lilith is variously depicted as the mother of Adam's demonic offspring following his separation from Eve or as his first wife. Whereas Eve was created from Adam's rib (Genesis 2:22), some accounts hold that Lilith was the woman implied in Genesis 1:27 and was made from the same soil as Adam.

27God created mankind in his image; in the image of God he created them; male and female* he created them. 28God blessed them and God said to them: Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.

What I never grokkedt, if Adam and Eve were the first two people, and they had Cain and Abel, and after Cain killed Abel, it was just the three of them, but thanks to fast Google search:

And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. Genesis 4:17 relates that after arriving in the Land of Nod, Cain's wife had a son with him, Enoch, in whose name he built the first city.

How did the Nod people get there? Beamed down from a spaceship. Lost chapters of the Jewish Scriptures. It’s Eve’s fault? It’s Lilith’s fault?

I once had a Christian history buff tell me the people in Nod were the product of Even and Cain’s children, it was done in that way back them.

But then, maybe it was Lilith and Adam’s kids in Nod and Call married one of his half sisters?

lovely people
If Eve had not ate that apple, she and Adam could have had Cain and Abel, and Cain would not have killed Abel, and they both could have mated with Eve and make themselves families, and they could have mated with their daughters by Eve and made more famillies, and everything wuold have turned out perfect

I wonder what it would be like for a man to major in Women's Studies. Would they have to sit in the corner in the back of the room?

Good luck men learning much about women by taking courses about them in schools. Over the years, I was married 4 times, once in a church, 3 times by judges, and then were four common laws. Each woman was very different and remarkable in her own way, and each of them opened something in me , whichI did not know what there, and it was like an entirely different life with each of them. and they really enriched my life even though I was not in any way easy to be with, and I hope they came out of it feeling enriched. loved other woman more briefly, and that’s what I meant in jest that I had tried to get a PhD in women’s studies, that, and having two beautiful daughters, and based on that hands-on curriculum, I say no man has standing to tell women how to be women, especially men waving Bibles or some. other religious parchment, or they got elected to some office, or they went to seminary, or they think they know more about women than God Almighty. :)

An unstated premise of your question is that understanding requires personal experience. I reject that as a fallacy.

I don't think I could ever tell any woman how to be a woman, nor would I ever tell a man how to be a man. We're all human, and have a lot in common on that basis. We come from the same planet and evolved from the same species.

Many women do that, I have experienced it, and the one woman who seemed addicted to it was finally told by God in her sleep, she told me, “You are not the one”, and she was terrified, and within about a week, I was being paired with her replacement. She was very church oriented and very capitalist, and I was neither. There is a distinction between men telling women how to live and vice versa, when its parents talking with their children and married men and women talking with eiach other, and good friends talking with each other. Everyone has blind spots, and a good rear and sage counsel are sometimes very helpful. But it is up to the woman or man to make the decision, not up to the counselor.
