Yes, but I thought we were also talking about equality between both genders when it comes to dress code — be it what Virgin Mary (presumably) wore or otherwise. The main point isn't about what she wore; it's about men and women wearing equal amounts of clothing (or lack thereof).

So if we go by this logic, should men wear hijabs and burqas? Or should there be gender inequality with regard to dress code?

As by nature women get pregnant and have periods, also by nature women
are looks sexy and attract men when they are wearing sexy dresses as we
can see today in the commercial advertisements and go go dance.

Of course showing woman as sex object.

One example of dancing and see where the camera focused at

Of course i didn't choose offensive one.:)

I think that what is considered "sexy dresses" is subjective, so it's not really a solid basis for determining what women 'should' wear.

Some people are turned on by seeing a bit of a woman's bare ankle; should their view of what constitutes "sexy" be taken into consideration by women when they're dressing up to go outside?

Fear God, your examples are not very accurate representation of normal women in the West, I do hope you know that. You are purposefully, it seems, looking for shocking and unusually sexual displays, while ignoring the myriad of examples out there showing how normal women and men interact in every day life.

I could just as easily find videos and photos of sexy men. Would that somehow prove that men are primarily seen as sex objects, or that by nature, the appearance of men is sexually attrative to females? (Actually, typing that last one, I realized how silly the statement is: Of course males and females are sexually attracted to each other; that's going to happen forever, for both genders, regardless of what they are wearing.)

Do you think Western women dress like gogo dancers in general?

I suspect you don't, so let me ask you this: if you had to describe what you think a very typical outfit a Western woman wears, what do you think it consists of?

Have you considered that maybe you have a false idea about what's typical clothing over here?

How about this?

Let us see some facts and how it is related to women and men in general.
Why men are the one to abuse women in work place or school.?
Why do you think ? where is the problem situated ?
of course i aint talking about the dress, but how men do abuse women according to investigations.

Four in 10 young women sexually harassed in public spaces, survey finds

Sexual harrassment suffered by HALF female workforce - while 40% say they have been touched inappropriately by colleagues

  • In Nairobi, 20 percent of women have been sexually harassed at work or school.
  • In the United States, 83 percent of girls aged 12 to 16 experienced some form of sexual harassment in public schools.

There are multiple factors. The first one is culture. For a long time, men have gotten a free pass by society to act on their sexual impulses however they want. Woman were blamed for the excesses of men; men were not asked to curb their appetities. Woman have never really had as free a rein to express their sexuality as men have. Even today, a woman with multiple sexual partners is considered a ****; a man with a similar amount is considered a stud.

The second one is physical. Men are able to physically overpower woman due to their size advantage. Woman usually do not have that advantage.

Now, how do you think this relates to my post and the fact that your examples are not represenative of how normal woman dress in normal everyday situations, and my assertion that sexy photos of men could just as easily be found as the sexy ones of women you have been showing?

I suspect that it may be for the same reasons that sexual harassment is a major problem in Egyptian society, among which is excusing the behavior of sexual harassers by saying that they were "provoked," as the article notes:

Fighting the good fight against sexual harassment: New said:
The different initiatives are challenged by many cultural misconceptions and wrong beliefs that exists in Egyptian society on the issue of sexual harassment.

"One of the most popular delusion among men in Egypt, which we hear a lot is that ‘respectable’ women do not get harassed," Farid noted, explaining there is still unawareness of how massive the problem is.

"Women get harassed because they are wearing ‘provocative clothes' is another common excuse harassers give and many people tend to believe," Ayoub said. "Not only is this unjust against women who have the right to walk down streets without getting harassed, regardless of what they wear, but it also implies that men are helpless people who cannot control their sexual desires, which is very insulting to men," Farid added.

Blaming women for sexual harassment isn't going to solve the problem, nor is wearing more clothing going to stop certain people from sexually harassing women. It's a profound oversimplification of the problem to say that changing clothing norms will somehow put an end to — or even noticeably decrease — sexual harassment all by itself.

No of course i know that americans don't wear like gogo dancers . :)
What i meant to say that some are using women as sex object.

Many of women in my home country wearing also similar to what you wear as shown in your photos which is normal and cute. :)

i am not against such decent dress as shown in your photos but also i see no problem for some women if they wanted to wear hijab, but i am against showing woman as sex object
showing tops and down.

i hope you got my point.

BTW,what you're drinking on the 2nd photo,is it cuppuccino ?

it is related that according to the survey women don'r care or have any interest on what you call a sexy guy,but they do care about his personality and for being a romantic one,so always we see men do abuse women and not the opposite.

Why ?, did Virgin Mary was shown wearing burqa ?

Why you are always insisting to say burqa,we are talking about hijab.

Yes women and men should be equal, you are right.

Why only woman should become pregnant and have to suffer for 9 months,
no justice,we should find a solution to find away for men to be also pregnant.

Why only woman to have menstruation every month, really disgusting,
men also should be equal with women. and what surprised me most,is

LOL menstruation is really disgusting? That's news to me; but who am I? I'm just a woman who menstruates.

Are you wearing what the Prophet wore? Are you wearing a thawb?

Do you dress like this?

thobe.jpg

Your argument holds no water. You're the one differentiating women from men by declaring that men can walk around in whatever he wishes, but women don't have the same liberty.

Tell me something: do you promote "separate but equal"?

If you posted a survey saying that women don't care about sexy men, I must have missed it. (PS: Good luck. :D Woman do indeed enjoy admiring how a man looks, and his appearance is often a factor for woman in determining sex appeal.)

I gave other reasons why men abuse woman, and not vice versa. To recap: society has allowed it (by encouraging expressions of male sexuality while simultaneously repressing female expressions) and biology has given men a physical advantage.

If that is really what the "survey" stated, then that is the most pathetic excuse for sexual harassment that I have ever seen, and trust me, I've seen and heard loads of them first-hand.

Do you mean that if the guy who do the harassment looks sexy and handsome, then she'll go for it with pleasure.

While we're at it: If jeans are acceptable for women to wear while shorts aren't, does that mean that showing an extra part of a woman's leg can lead to increased sexual harassment in society?
