First, you need to be aware that while some religious Jews look upon the Messiah as an actual person who is to come, there are other religious Jews that see "the Messiah" as a metaphor for the things we do to bring that idyllic age of world peace.

For the purpose of this discussion, let's assume the messiah will be a person. There is nothing in any of the texts that says HOW he will accomplish this.
