Do people really believe magic can happen or does it only happen in religion? I mean the type of things people are normally skeptical about.

Anything in the metaphysical or supernatural realm not easily explainable.

What is not easily explainable in one generation can end up being more easily explainable in another generation.

The idea of radio waves, sending information through a pure vacuum, sounds magical. Most of modern physics sounds pretty magical- the deeper one gets into the underlying fabric of things, the weirder it seems to be. Most quantum stuff or relativity stuff sounds magical. The Big Bang sounds pretty magical.

What does "metaphysical realm" mean?

Lol! For some reason that caught me as so funny! Made me laugh! I am not so sure where this realm exists myself except in some folks minds perhaps? Well, I cannot talk, I believe Jesus walked on water, but in the 'earthly' realm, so that makes me pretty far out , too!

My father said an angel patted him on the shoulder when he was in the hospital and told him not to worry, that she wasn't there for him.
