Militia Immaculata

I feel kinda stupid cause a week and a half or so ago, i made a big post saying how glad i was to be back, and then i haven't been on. Anyway, i have a good excuse, i was on a retreat. It was a retreat donw in San Diego and it was an M.I. retreat.

I don't really expect non-catholics to know what the M.I. is or even some CAtholics. M.I. stands for the Militia Immaculata. If you want to know more about it, google it, its pretty cool. Basically, i was consecrated to Mary, and and i try to follow God's will, which Mary helps me to understand. It was started by St. Maximellian Kolbe.

So, thats where i've been, and i'll honestly try to start getting on more. I really do miss you guys, and i'll try harder to keep up on whats going on.:D

Jimbob can you tell us about your time in the MI and how it has affected you spritually?
Sure. Well, i've only been in the M.I. a couple of days, but i do feel stronger in my faith, especially after the retreat. For example of the way home from San Diego, i prayed almost the whole way (6 or so hours). The retreat was great. We had morning prayer, daily mass, daily adoration, daily rosary, along with talks and recreation time (where we would decide to play a sport, ussually ultimate frisbee). It was incredibly fun, but at the same time, it also helped me to understand the position of Mary in theology and to give myself to her so that she can help me lead a moral life that God wants me to.
