Wishing you and yours safety and good health. Take care out there! I hope you've managed to get vaccinated to at least protect yourself as much as you can amid this mess.

My town, which is really not that far from Missouri, but in Illinois, is usually a hotspot, but me and my family have been making it pretty well. I got really sick about 6 months ago. But I recovered. I don't know for sure whether it was coronavirus. I'm currently recovering from what I'd say is a tough cold, these days. My only symptom now is a cough. But I've been taking it easy.

If not blame, then for whatever reason, would you note
when Dem leaning states were tops for infection?
None of those states were the state I live in for one. And there is a very vocal presence in the media denouncing vaccination right now.

Why not note it? I am moderate, but I live a conservative life. A life and values that no longer align with what the Republican Party is coming to be. I didn't change. They did.

But then you'll be magnetised by Bill Gates 5G microchips!

s, for those of you that need it
I'm super psyched, cuz I got the one with the secret decoder app. And it leaves my breath minty fresh too.

That is one of the changes to politics that bothers me the most. That a significant number of people are making political decisions based on unverifiable conspiracy theories. We will all pay for that as time goes by.

The reason is important. We've had any number of reasons including at the start ignorance for which state has had the worst infection rate. Florida has stayed at or near the top of the list for a long time now. There are reasons for that including the right wing government there.

Right now, even GOP governors are starting to blame the unvaccinated for the problem.

“We’ve got to get folks to take the shot,” said Gov. Kay Ivey, whose state ranks poorly on Covid-19 vaccination rates. “Folks are supposed to have common sense. But it’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks. It’s the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down,” she told reporters Thursday. “Let’s get it done.” Alabama’s Governor Is Latest GOP Leader to Implore Residents to Get Covid-19 Shot

“Regular” folks?

“Unvaccinated folks” are just as much “regular folks” as the vaccinated.

Missouri, being dubbed the 'shoe me' state, what is their are trying to show us? For myself my husband and I have been vaccinated but since it was the J&J I do not feel very confident at all. Still do all shopping on line, even groceries, our daughter does the rest. Until July 4th our state was doing very well, but with vacations the cases of covid have spiked on Cape Cod.
