Matthew 5:18
"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

Love your neighbor as yourself for a lot of the old laws about striking down the wicked but there are others that we really have no excuse not to follow, if your a Christian. Am I wrong? What do you think?

Leviticus 19:17-20

17'You (A)shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you (B)may surely reprove your neighbor, but shall not incur sin because of him.
18'(C)You shall not take vengeance, (D)nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but (E)you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.
19'You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; (F)you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together.
20'(G)Now if a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave...

(I spoke with a rabbi who told me it says not to mix wool with something but that is elsewhere. Not even the orthodox Jews with the nice long beards follow this one, to my knowledge.)

Read Paul. Laws are for those who don't know how to govern themselves in righteousness. Since we are governed by Christ (we are his Body) we have no need to follow laws that define our righteousness.

Matt. 5:18 - has Jesus responding to those who had been accusing Him of not following the LAW...He was saying I have come not to take away the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them...the Law will not be done away with until everything is accomplished...meaning His dying on the cross....
