Modi on TN government control of temples.

In October PM Modi spoke out about the corruption in TN with regard to government controlled temples. Hopefully, with his influence, other more pro-Hindu parties can come to power in TN, and finally end this blatant discrimination against Hinduism.

Does India need more pro-Hindu parties? Discrimination against Hinduism? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black...
India's been developing into a Hindu theocracy lately, with Muslims and minorities being increasingly discriminated against.

Since when do state governments control the funds of Islamic mosques and Christian churches? This is one specific situation that has been going on for a long time.. Of course minority rights should be respected.

That seems far fetched at the moment. The Dravidian (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, DMK) party is well entrenched, though it is a dynasty party and one of the most corrupt in the country. But things may change.

It certainly does. The son of the Chief Minister in Tamilnadu gave a call for eradication of Sanatan Dharma, though Tamilnadu is 87% Hindu. It is something like an enemy at home. Denigrating Hinduism gets vote from the poor as if they are doing something great and from minorities (Christians and Muslims).
There is no discrimination against Muslims and Christians. Indian Supreme Court is very powerful. And if there was any case like that, they would have straightened the central government. Sure, Modi and his party (Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP) are clearly pro-Hindu. Hindus sense the past and present discrimination against them in states not ruled by BJP and therefore vote for Modi.
We are having elections in four large states, let us see what they bring out. The results will be announced on December 3. Then we will have the national elections in April-May, 2024, which will decide the fate of Modi's party.
People may vote for regional parties in state elections, but tend to prefer Modi at the Center. India largely, has faith in Modi's honesty and enterprise.

Thank you for your wisdom and insights. I have many friends from TN, but I've never talked politics with any of them, as I meet them in religious circumstances, and that's not the time or place. One of these days I should. But even here in a small local Tamil society, there is conflict between the Christians and Hindus.

Christians and Muslims are predators. So naturally, there will be conflict with Hindus.
